Below is a set of charts summarising the results. The plots are live feeds from the database and will change if submissions are changed or added.
If you what to add your input, please fill in the questionnaire using either the secure socket layer or the plain text layer web server.
The first plot depicts the expected attendance based on location.
Thing to consider when interpreting this Mercator plot are:
Discontinuities occur where the boarders of the Lake district, Lancashire Peak District, and Cheshire have been drawn. They are intensified by submissions by people stating they are interested in walking in a region but do not wish to travel the distance to get to the region.
Hotspots (High Green) (e.g. 53.84N 3.05W) are due to people stating that wish to travel less than 5 miles to the walk.
Only the distance made good to the location is considered. Thus consideration of the true travel distance should noted when planing a walk.
People cannot walk on water.
The next set of plots are simple (but large) self explanatory bar charts.
